Prompt guide
A good prompt reads like a short brief to a photographer or director. Say who is in the shot, what they wear, where they are, how it is filmed and how it should feel.
Write a good prompt
- Subject
- Who or what is in the shot.
- Look & outfit
- Name the details you care about: colour, cut and length, hood, collar, and how far it is zipped.
- Setting
- Where it happens and when.
- Camera & framing
- How it is shot.
- Lighting & mood
- The light and the feeling.
- Video: motion
- What moves, in order, and how the camera moves.
- Video: speech
- To make someone speak, put their exact words in quotes in the prompt. In UGC LIP SYNC, type the words in the SCRIPT box instead.
Modes
- Text to image
Text to video - Everything comes from your prompt, so describe the whole scene.
- Image to video
- Your image is the first frame. Describe what happens next and how the camera moves, not what is already in the picture.
- Image edit
- Add up to 5 source images on DS IMAGE 2, or 3 on DS IMAGE Q and DS IMAGE 1. Every place you can fill shows as an empty square. Describe only the change, and say what must stay the same.
- References
- Add up to 14 reference images to a video on DS VIDEO PRO (720p max); DS VIDEO LITE and DS VIDEO CLASSIC show REFERENCE greyed out. In the prompt, REFERENCE 1 is
<IMAGE_0>, REFERENCE 2 is<IMAGE_1>, and so on up to REFERENCE 14,<IMAGE_13>. BATCH makes one video per reference. If you switch to a model that takes fewer, the extra inputs stay in place, greyed out and marked NOT SENT. - Keyframes
- Set a FIRST and/or LAST image, plus up to 4 KEY frames. Describe how the scene gets from one to the next.
- Bring to life
- Add a CHARACTER image and describe small, natural movements: a blink, a breath, hair in the wind. CHARACTER is the opening frame and holds 1 image. On DS VIDEO PRO you can add more characters (up to 14) in REFERENCE; other models grey REFERENCE out (not sent). On a phone, tap a slot to choose where past items go, then tap a past item.
- Extend
- Pick a finished video and press EXTEND. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT is optional: describe the next moment, or leave it empty to let the scene carry on.
- UGC lip sync
- Add a CREATOR photo, type the exact words in SCRIPT and pick a VOICE. Use the prompt for the setting and action. With references added, the creator photo still does the talking.
- Precision edit
- Add a video to INPUT MP4 (or drag one from your history). Describe only the change.
- Virtual try-on
- Add a PERSON image and an OUTFIT image, then describe the walk, setting and camera.
Tips
- Be specific. Name the exact colour, material and details instead of general words.
- Most important details first. Put what matters most at the start of the prompt.
- Keep it consistent. Avoid details that contradict each other.
- For edits, say what stays. Name the change, then what must not change.
- RETRY runs the same prompt and settings again and gives you a new version each time.
- USE loads a past item’s prompt and its image or video into the inputs so you can tweak it before pressing START.
Drag and drop
- From your history. Drag any item from the bottom row (or a LIBRARY tile) onto an input on the left.
- Images drop in as images.
- Videos drop in as their first frame. In PRECISION EDIT the whole video goes in instead, and a video dropped on EXTEND becomes the clip to extend.
- From your computer. You can also drop image or video files straight onto an input.
- Image link instead? Click the small URL button on an image input and paste a link. It turns green when the link works and red when it can’t be used.
Prompt check
- Green: good to go.
- Yellow: may be rejected. If it is, your credits are refunded.
- Red: reword it. START stays locked until you do.
Grab a still
- Pick the moment. Pause or scrub the video to the frame you want.
- Tap GRAB STILL in the top-right corner of the video (in the player or the LIBRARY viewer).
- It lands in your library as a full-size image you can USE like any other image, for example as a first frame or reference.
- It’s free. Grabbing a still costs no credits.
Video player keys
- Same as DaVinci Resolve. L plays forward at 1×; press it again for 2×, 4× and 8× (the top speed). J does the same backward. K stops. Space plays forward at 1×, or pauses if anything is moving.
- Opposite key. While playing fast, the other key slows you down one step at a time (L at 4×, then J: 2×, J: 1×), and one more press at 1× reverses direction at 1×.
- Slow motion and frame step. Hold K and hold J or L for slow motion in that direction (¼×, then ½× after a moment). Release to stop. Hold K and just tap J or L to step one frame back or forward.
- They work on the main player, the LIBRARY viewer, the TIMELINE player and the STORYBOARD clip preview, and show the speed briefly on the player. Backward play steps the picture back frame by frame, so it can look a little choppy. They stay out of the way when you are typing in a box, or on a focused button, and when you hold Ctrl, Cmd or Alt (so undo and the other shortcuts keep working).
The TOOLS page
- An app grid. TOOLS shows one square icon per tool with a short caption. Tap or press Enter on an icon to open that tool full page; the header shows its name. Arrow keys move between icons.
- BACK (or Esc, or your browser’s back button) returns to the grid; from the grid it closes TOOLS. If you have unsaved work in an editor, DSAI still asks SAVE, LEAVE WITHOUT SAVING or STAY first.
- Phones: PHOTOCRAFT, FILMCRAFT and VIDEO CONVERTER are greyed out with DESKTOP ONLY; tapping one explains why.
Inpaint
- Open it from the account menu (TOOLS, then INPAINT), or with INPAINT or TOOLS in the LIBRARY viewer. TOOLS opens the panel with that photo loaded in INPAINT; for a video it opens FILMCRAFT (in a desktop browser; on phones and tablets it’s greyed out for videos).
- Paint the area you want to change with BRUSH. ERASER takes paint away.
- Fix a stroke with UNDO and REDO (Cmd+Z and Shift+Cmd+Z, or Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z), up to 30 steps back. CLEAR and INVERT can be undone too.
- EDGE: SOFT blends the border over 2–4 pixels; HARD keeps it crisp. The new part is color-matched to the photo around it, so there’s no halo.
- SNAP TO SUBJECT (on by default): when most of your paint is on a person or object, the change follows its outline instead of your brush shape. Turn it off to use the area exactly as painted.
- Describe only that area in the prompt, then press INPAINT. The person’s pose, body shape, framing and lighting are kept.
- Everything you didn’t paint stays exactly the same. It costs the same as an image edit.
Background
- REMOVE cuts out the subject and saves a transparent PNG. It’s free.
- CHANGE keeps the subject as it is and makes a new background from your prompt. It costs the same as an image edit.
Moodboards
- Make a board in TOOLS, then MOODBOARDS, and add images from your library or your computer.
- USE BOARD puts the board’s images into the current mode as references (or edit sources).
- Only as many as the model takes are used (for example 3 with DS IMAGE Q, 5 with DS IMAGE 2). Extra images are greyed out. Move the ones you want to the front.
Timeline
- Open LIBRARY and press TIMELINE. Drag videos and photos onto the bar at the bottom (or use ADD TO TIMELINE in the viewer).
- Trim each video with IN and OUT. A photo stays on screen for 5 seconds; change HOLD to make it longer or shorter.
- Reorder by dragging a clip (on a phone, press and hold, then drag) or with the arrows. Pick a transition and its length where two clips meet; it stays with that spot when you reorder.
- Zoom with the slider and the − / + buttons at the bottom right (or Ctrl/⌘ + scroll, or pinch). Each clip is as wide as it is long; the ruler above shows timecode and gets finer as you zoom in. The full-extent button fits the whole timeline.
- Playhead: click or drag on the ruler to move the red playhead; the preview follows.
- Trim on the timeline: grab the front or back edge of a video to set IN or OUT, or the back edge of a photo to set how long it shows. A tooltip shows the length while you drag, and the IN/OUT/HOLD boxes update too.
- Preview with the player: PLAY/PAUSE, scrub across the whole timeline, previous/next clip, MUTED and LOOP.
- Pick ASPECT and RESOLUTION for the finished video. Every clip and photo fills the whole frame, with no black bars: anything that doesn’t fit the shape is cropped off, centered by default.
- Move the crop: click a clip, pause the preview, and drag the picture. The bright box is what ends up in the video; the dimmed parts get cut off. ZOOM (100%–300%) moves in closer, and CENTER resets it. Each clip keeps its own crop, and the export uses exactly what the preview shows.
- Editing is free. EXPORT costs 1 credit for every 5 seconds of finished video, rounded up (a 6-second export is 2 credits, a 30-second export is 6). The cost shows before you press EXPORT, it’s charged when the export starts, and you get it back if the export fails. It saves one MP4 to your library.
- FILM LOOK colors the whole export: NONE, WARM FILM (warm tone, soft contrast, light grain), COOL CINEMA (teal shadows, warm highlights, deeper blacks, a slight vignette) or VINTAGE (faded blacks, muted color, heavier grain, a soft glow around bright spots). The preview shows a close match; the export has the real look.
Upscale
- Photos only. Open it with UPSCALE in the studio when a photo is in the player (the same button is EXTEND for videos), with UPSCALE in the LIBRARY viewer when a photo is open, or in TOOLS, then UPSCALE. Every result is saved as a new library item. Videos can’t be upscaled.
- DS UPSCALE re-renders an image at 2K. It costs the same as a 2K image edit, and the cost shows before you START. If it fails, you get the credits back.
- SLOW UPSCALE (runs on your device) makes an image 2X or 4X bigger right in your browser. It’s free; only the saved file counts toward your storage. It can take a minute or more, so keep the tab open.
- Upscale again. You can upscale an upscaled photo again, with either option. The LIBRARY viewer’s ASSETS show the whole chain back to the ORIGINAL.
- Greyed-out options tell you why when you hover over them. DS UPSCALE is greyed out once a photo is 2K or larger. SLOW UPSCALE goes up to 8192 px on the longest side (iPhone and iPad browsers stop at about 16 megapixels).
PhotoCraft
- A full photo editor. TOOLS, then PHOTOCRAFT opens it in the whole panel. It has layers, masks, adjustment layers and Select Subject, and it opens PSD files. Editing runs in your browser and is free. Saving an image to your LIBRARY costs 1 credit per image. Desktop browser only: it isn’t offered on phones or tablets.
- Open a photo: OPEN IN PHOTOCRAFT in the LIBRARY viewer, PHOTOCRAFT at the top right of the studio player when a photo is in it, or OPEN FROM LIBRARY in the PhotoCraft bar. Each photo opens as a new document. You can also use File, then Open inside PhotoCraft.
- SAVE TO LIBRARY shows the price on the button and saves the document you’re looking at as one flattened image. Pick PNG (keeps transparency) or JPG (smaller; see-through parts turn white). The credit is charged when the image is saved, and given back if the save fails. It counts toward your storage. The LIBRARY viewer’s ASSETS show which photo it started from.
- Downloads go through your LIBRARY. PhotoCraft’s own export and save-to-computer are turned off here. If you export from its menus, DSAI asks whether to save the image to your LIBRARY for 1 credit. Download it from the LIBRARY after that. Layered PSD files can’t be saved.
- Your open documents stay while you switch tabs or close TOOLS. Reloading the page closes them, so save first.
- Unsaved changes: if you’ve edited since your last save and you switch tabs or close TOOLS, DSAI asks first: SAVE TO LIBRARY (1 credit), LEAVE WITHOUT SAVING, or STAY. Reloading or closing the browser tab shows your browser’s own “leave site?” warning. Nothing is charged unless you press SAVE.
- Greyed out? On a phone or tablet it says DESKTOP BROWSER ONLY. On a computer, PhotoCraft needs a browser with WebAssembly. Without a graphics chip it still works, just more slowly.
- PhotoCraft is free, open-source software by the PhotoCraft contributors (MIT or Apache-2.0 license). We host the official release unchanged. License and notices.
FilmCraft
- A full video editor. TOOLS, then FILMCRAFT opens it in the whole panel: a timeline with tracks, trims, transitions, titles, color and audio. Editing runs in your browser and is free. Desktop browser only: it isn’t offered on phones or tablets.
- Open videos and photos: OPEN IN FILMCRAFT in the LIBRARY viewer, or OPEN FROM LIBRARY in the FilmCraft bar (pick several). The first one you open starts a sequence that matches it. Later ones go into the project, ready to drag onto the timeline.
- EXPORT TO LIBRARY renders the sequence to an MP4 in your browser (keep the tab open). DSAI then reads the video’s length and shows the price before anything is charged: 1 credit per 2 seconds, rounded up (a 7-second video costs 4 credits), the same as a timeline export. SAVE charges and saves it to your LIBRARY. If the save fails, the credits are given back. DISCARD charges nothing.
- Downloads go through your LIBRARY. FilmCraft’s own video, audio and image downloads are turned off here. If you export from its menus, DSAI offers to save the video to your LIBRARY at the same price. Project and caption files still download.
- Unsaved changes: if you’ve edited since your last save and you switch tabs or close TOOLS, DSAI asks first. EXPORT & SHOW COST renders the video and shows its price; SAVE TO LIBRARY then charges it and saves. You can also LEAVE WITHOUT SAVING or STAY. Reloading or closing the browser tab shows your browser’s own warning. Nothing is charged unless you press SAVE.
- Your project stays while you switch tabs, and FilmCraft usually recovers it after a reload. Speech-to-text (auto captions) isn’t available here because it would download models from another site.
- Greyed out? On a phone or tablet it says DESKTOP BROWSER ONLY. On a computer, FilmCraft needs a recent browser with WebAssembly. Without a graphics chip it still works, just more slowly.
- FilmCraft is free, open-source software by the FilmCraft contributors (MIT or Apache-2.0 license). We host the official release unchanged. License and notices.
Video Converter
- Batch convert, shrink, trim, or extract audio, HandBrake-style: MP4 H.264 (1080p, 720p, 480p, web optimized), WebM, animated GIF, MP3 and AAC. TOOLS, then VIDEO CONVERTER. Converting runs in your browser and is free. Desktop browser only: it isn’t offered on phones or tablets.
- Add videos by dropping them on the box, clicking it to choose files, or ADD FROM LIBRARY in the bar at the top. Settings apply to every file; each file can pick its own preset in the queue. STOP ends the batch. The engine (about 32 MB) loads the first time you convert.
- Saving video costs 1 credit per 2 seconds, rounded up (a 7-second video costs 4 credits). SAVE TO LIBRARY on a finished video sends it to DSAI, which reads its real length and shows the price before anything is charged. SAVE charges and adds it to your LIBRARY; if the save fails, the credits are given back. DISCARD charges nothing. SAVE ALL TO LIBRARY goes through each video in turn, each with its own price. A GIF is priced as video.
- WebM and GIF are kept as MP4 in your LIBRARY, because the library holds MP4 video. If this server can’t convert them, those presets are greyed out.
- Audio is free. MP3 and AAC results aren’t kept in the LIBRARY, so they download straight to your computer (DOWNLOAD · FREE).
- No folder saving or ZIP here. Videos go through your LIBRARY like every other result (with SAVE TO DEVICE on, they download as usual). If you leave the tab with finished videos you haven’t saved, DSAI asks first.
- Greyed out? On a phone or tablet it says DESKTOP BROWSER ONLY. On a computer it needs a recent browser with WebAssembly. It’s single-threaded, so expect about real time or slower for 720p.
- The converter runs FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly: ffmpeg.wasm 0.12.15 (MIT) with the @ffmpeg/core 0.12.10 single-thread build (GPL-2.0-or-later, includes x264, libvpx and LAME). FFmpeg is a trademark of Fabrice Bellard; this site isn’t affiliated with the FFmpeg project or HandBrake. Licenses and source code · GPL-2.0 · ffmpeg.wasm MIT.
Community
- An anonymous gallery for paid members. COMMUNITY (account menu, next to LIBRARY, page
/community) shows results other members chose to share, with the prompt they typed and the date. There is no name or any identity, and nothing is blurred. Members are accounts with at least one credit purchase (or a member flag set by the owner). Everyone else sees COMMUNITY and the share toggle greyed out with MEMBERS ONLY, and the server refuses them as well. - Sharing is opt-in. Open an item in the LIBRARY and use SHARE TO COMMUNITY (off by default). A confirm says the result and its prompt will be visible to paid members. Only the result and the prompt you typed are shared (never reference or input images, and never the hidden lines DSAI adds). Turn it off to remove it. Prompts that fail the word check can’t be shared.
- Using what you see. The grid has 2 columns on a phone and 4 to 6 on a computer. Tap an item to open it: COPY copies its prompt, USE THIS PROMPT puts it in the main generator, and REPORT sends it to the owner (a few per hour). Reported items can be hidden by the owner.
Character Sheet
- Using a sheet in a video. A sheet works as a REFERENCE image (the whole sheet is used to learn the character). If you use a sheet as a FIRST FRAME, LAST FRAME or KEYFRAME (including BRING TO LIFE), DSAI uses its front view, the first full-body picture, instead of the whole sheet, and tells you so. Old sheets are recognised too.
- One image in, a full sheet out. TOOLS, then CHARACTER SHEET. Pick a character from your LIBRARY or upload one, add optional notes, choose how many expressions and close-ups, the style and size, and how many sheets. Every sheet is square (1:1) and always shows front, side, back and three-quarter views.
- Price: each sheet is one image generation on DS IMAGE 2, and the cost is shown before you press GENERATE SHEET. If it fails, the credits are refunded. Sheets save to your LIBRARY.
- Send it on: USE AS REFERENCE adds the sheet to the REFERENCE inputs for a video, and USE AS EDIT SOURCE adds it to IMAGE EDIT. It works on phones too.
- The same content rule applies: everyone shown must be an adult (18+).
Rewrite a prompt
- REWRITE sits under the main prompt box, next to the DOWN GARMENT prompt, and on each STORYBOARD card prompt. It costs a small flat price shown on the button (charged first, refunded if it fails). It tidies your own words: it keeps what you asked for, makes the prompt clearer and shorter, and does not add things you didn’t ask for.
- You see YOURS and the REWRITE side by side, and you can edit the rewrite. USE puts it in the box (and in PROMPT HISTORY); KEEP MINE closes it. Nothing is saved unless you press USE. The word check runs on what you send and on the result.
Storyboard (cards)
- Phones and small screens: the toolbar wraps onto two rows so every button stays reachable, controls are at least 44 px for touch, and text is never under 12 px. Below 900 px wide the card’s columns stack. On a phone, tap anywhere outside the account menu (or press Esc) to close it.
- One card per shot. TOOLS, then STORYBOARD. On the desktop the page has five panels: a LEFT RAIL headed MASTER SETTINGS with four tabs, one group open at a time (CARD for the selected card’s look settings, VIDEO, CHARS and LIGHTING for the MASTER settings) with GENERATE ALL and the price under them, a HEADER and toolbar on one row across the top (project, name, NEW, DELETE, undo, redo, AI SUGGEST), the CENTER STAGE showing one card at a time (FIRST FRAME, REFERENCE images and PROMPT side by side, with the word check, X tab and REWRITE, and the CAMERA NOTE under the prompt) with ◀ ▶ arrows and + ADD CARD above it (Up and Down also move between cards), a compact RIGHT PANEL for the selected card (clip preview, duration, price, GENERATE or REDO) and the timeline STRIP along the bottom for jumping and drag-to-reorder. On a laptop screen nothing scrolls: the whole workspace fits the window, and the panels collapse instead of scrolling. On a phone they stack: header, a SETTINGS section, the cards, the details under the selected card, and the strip pinned at the bottom. A card is ready when it has a prompt, a first frame or a reference. Use + ADD CARD, DUPLICATE, DELETE and the ▲ ▼ buttons to build and reorder the list.
- Works like an app. The storyboard fills the window and each panel scrolls on its own. The toolbar has CARD, DUPLICATE, DELETE, UNDO, REDO, SETTINGS, DETAILS, KEYS and AI SUGGEST (GENERATE ALL is the one button in the bottom right). The collapse buttons on the panel headers hide the side panels, and you can drag the dividers to resize them (DSAI remembers the sizes). A status bar shows saved state, card count, total length and what is left to make.
- Reorder and edit fast. Drag a card by its handle (the dots) and a line shows where it will land; the strip below also drags. Right-click a card (or press and hold on a phone) for DUPLICATE, DELETE, MOVE and COPY PROMPT. Strip tiles show a state badge: EMPTY, READY, QUEUED, a percentage while generating, DONE or FAILED.
- Keyboard. N new card, Delete remove the selected card, Ctrl/Cmd+D duplicate, up and down arrows pick a card (Alt+arrows move it), Ctrl/Cmd+Enter generate it, Ctrl/Cmd+Z undo and Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z redo, ? shows the list. Undo covers card edits, reorder, add and delete. Deleting a card shows a message instead of a dialog.
- On a phone the toolbar sits at the bottom, SETTINGS opens as a sheet from the bottom, and the strip stays pinned above the toolbar.
- Master settings in the rail apply to every card. MASTER VIDEO: model, size, aspect, default duration, sound and voice (a card may change the aspect or model only if you allow it there). MASTER CHARACTERS (the CHARS tab): you start with one character slot. Each character has an optional short name and one or more reference images, up to the model’s limit in all. All characters are shown at once as boxes in a grid, each box shows the character’s first image filling the whole box with its number (and name) on top and a small count when it has more images. The CHARS tab is the first tab and is the one open when the storyboard opens (a tab you were on before a refresh still wins). Click a box and its images open large in the character viewer under the buttons: the arrow buttons (or the left and right arrow keys, or a swipe on a phone) step through that character’s images, + LIBRARY and + UPLOAD add images to it, and − IMAGE removes the one on show (UNDO brings it back). The two square + and − buttons sit in a fixed row right under the grid, always in the same place. + adds a character and − removes the selected one (click a box to select it). The selected character’s DETAILS appear under the buttons: an optional NAME and an optional description (with an X tab to clear it). A description is added to the card’s prompt as one short line, Character N (name): your text, only on cards where that character is switched on and only when the text is filled in (+ greys out at the limit, − when only one is left; UNDO brings a removed character back). Every character is sent with each card as reference images, and in a card’s CARD tab you can leave a character out of that card (a single character gets one switch, several get one button each). Older projects with plain character references open as one character. MASTER LIGHTING: a preset or your own words for all cards; a card can override it.
- CANVAS. A second tool in the TOOLS grid, beside STORYBOARD (the card version). It is a pan-and-zoom canvas of tall SHOT cards in a staggered row, joined by thin curved connector lines in shooting order, in DSAI’s black and orange with square corners. Each card has SHOT N, the picture or result, a title with chips (such as lens or angle), the description (your prompt), a SHOTS REQUIRED checklist you can tick on the card, a SCENE note, an EQUIPMENT list and GENERATE or REGENERATE. Edit the chips, the checklist, the scene note and the equipment in SHOT SHEET in the inspector on the right (they are saved in the project and are planning notes: they are not sent to the model). Pan by dragging empty space, the HAND tool, Space + drag, trackpad scroll or one finger; zoom with Ctrl/Cmd + scroll, pinch, the + and − buttons (bottom left) or FIT. Drag a card to reorder (the lines and numbers follow; undo works), click a card to open it in the inspector, and use ADD SHOT at the end of the row. The minimap bottom left shows the whole row; click it to move. The left rail is MASTER SETTINGS with OUTPUT and the master characters, the script line with LAY OUT SHOTS is above the canvas, the one GENERATE ALL is bottom right, and the timeline strip, undo/redo, saved projects and refresh-stays-put all work as in STORYBOARD (CANVAS and STORYBOARD share one project list: a project saved in one opens in the other). On a phone one finger pans, two fingers pinch and the inspector is a sheet from the bottom. Old #tools/storyboard2 links open CANVAS. Not included: Export, Present and Share.
- Every view has its own page. Each screen has a real address, so a link, a refresh and the browser back and forward buttons always land on it: / the main page (the mode is /#mode=…), /library, /library/view/<file> (one item open), /library/timeline, /tools (the grid), /tools/<tool> such as /tools/canvas, /tools/storyboard, /tools/garment or /tools/charsheet, /tools/canvas/<project>/<shot>/<tab> (your project and selected shot), /buy (BUY CREDITS) and /device (SAVE TO DEVICE). Moving to another view adds a history entry; picking a card or changing the mode only updates the address. Old #library, #tools/… and /tools/storyboard2 links still work and are rewritten to the new addresses. The account menu is on every page and goes straight to these pages; the DSAI logo on any page goes to the main page. The unsaved-work question still appears when you leave an editor with changes (back button included), and the guide, pricing and login pages keep their own addresses (/alerts opens the admin alerts).
- Account menu works everywhere. LIBRARY, TOOLS, BUY CREDITS and SAVE TO DEVICE now open from every page: from the TOOLS grid and any tool (STORYBOARD, CANVAS and the rest), the other full-page views, and the guide and pricing pages. Choosing LIBRARY from a tool closes the tool first (and asks about unsaved work); choosing TOOLS from the library closes the library; the drawers open on top of everything. The browser back button still works.
- MASTER SCRIPT. The script box (labelled MASTER SCRIPT in CANVAS, the scene box in the STORYBOARD rail) is part of the project: it is saved, comes back when you open the project, and undoes with the master settings. Every shot you make (GENERATE, REGENERATE or GENERATE ALL, images or videos) gets the line “Overall story and look: …” first, then the shot’s own prompt, then the camera note, character descriptions and lighting as before. If the shot’s prompt already contains the script it is not added twice, and an empty script adds nothing. The GENERATE ALL confirm says MASTER SCRIPT INCLUDED. LAY OUT SHOTS and AI SUGGEST use the same text.
- VIDEO ONLY controls. When OUTPUT in MASTER SETTINGS is IMAGES, DURATION, SOUND and VOICE (and a shot’s own DURATION) are greyed out, disabled and marked VIDEO ONLY, in both STORYBOARD and CANVAS. Their saved values are not changed, and they work again when OUTPUT is VIDEOS.
- Library viewer ASSETS. In the info panel of the library viewer the CHARACTER and REFERENCE thumbnails now sit in an even grid (8px across, 12px down) with their labels fully below them, on desktop and phone.
- BRING TO LIFE first frame. A video shows its first frame as its opening picture, so a CHARACTER SHEET is never used as the first frame (it opened the clip on a standing studio picture with bars before cutting to the scene). The sheet’s front view is cut tight to the person and sent as a reference image only, listed first as the character (
<IMAGE_0>); your other pictures follow it, and the clip starts as a natural shot. Pictures that are not sheets still work as before: a first frame with the video’s shape is sent untouched, and a different shape is padded only when you choose FIT. Reference clips are limited to 720p. - The toolbar never overlaps. The project picker and name shrink and cut off with an ellipsis, the toolbar buttons show icons only when the row is narrow (words when it is wide), and anything that still does not fit wraps to a second row instead of running into its neighbour.
- Card timeline. The strip under the cards shows every card as a block as long as its duration, with a thumbnail. Click a block to jump to its card; drag blocks to reorder with a mouse (on a phone use the arrows on each card).
- Generate. GENERATE on a card makes just that clip; there is only one GENERATE ALL button, bottom right in the status bar (the toolbar and the left rail have none). It makes every ready card that isn’t done yet, two at a time, the rest wait in the queue, and it shows the number of items and the total credits on the button and asks you to confirm that total first. What it makes follows MASTER SETTINGS → VIDEO → OUTPUT, IMAGES or VIDEOS (VIDEOS is the default and is saved with the project): VIDEOS makes the usual clip for each card, IMAGES makes one still per card with the normal image model and image price. A card that already has a result keeps it; use REDO THIS CARD to make it again. Each card shows its own price before you press and its own progress. A failed card is refunded on its own and can be redone (REDO THIS CARD) without touching the others. Prices are the normal video (or image) prices for each card’s settings, with nothing added.
- AI SUGGEST CARDS (small flat price shown on the button) writes a shot list from a scene description and adds it as cards you can edit.
- Saved projects. Your storyboards are saved on the server as you type (cards, masters, order). Pick one from the list at the top, NEW starts another, rename in the name box, DELETE removes it (finished clips stay in your LIBRARY). Reloading or restarting never loses a board.
- In the LIBRARY the finished clips of a storyboard show as ONE item with the clip count. Open it for OPEN GROUP IN TIMELINE (the clips load into the TIMELINE in card order, ready to trim, reorder and crop), SHOW CLIPS (see every clip as its own video) or DELETE (asks whether to remove the clips too). The clips stay usable on their own.
- Older sheets. STORYBOARD SHEET images you saved earlier are ordinary library images and still work. The old frame-grid tool was replaced by the cards.
- Prompt history. TOOLS, then PROMPT HISTORY, keeps the last 50 prompts you built or used in the tools (DOWN GARMENT when you press USE ON MAIN PAGE, SAVE AS PRESET or COPY; the CHARACTER SHEET notes; the STORYBOARD scene and every card you generate; INPAINT and BACKGROUND prompts), per account. USE puts a prompt back in the tool you came from (or the main prompt box), COPY copies it, and the bin deletes it.
Down Garment
- Build a garment prompt with buttons. TOOLS, then DOWN GARMENT. The options are in folding groups so the form stays tidy: STYLE (one-tap presets such as ski, streetwear, luxe, military, retro 80s and 90s, cropped, cocoon and glam), GARMENT (puffer jacket, parka, vest, coat, bomber, pants, bibs/overalls, one-piece suit or two-piece suit; women’s, men’s or unisex cut; fit from fitted to cocoon; length), COLOR (solid, two-tone or color-block, swatches or your own words, lining color), FILL AND BAFFLES (fill from thin to extreme overstuffed, baffle style, puffiness at the elbows and waist), STITCHING (seam style, contrast stitch color, size and spacing), FABRIC AND SHEEN (finish, fabric, sheen, highlights, wrinkles, condition, snow or rain), COLLAR AND HOOD, FUR TRIM (none, hood, collar, cuffs or full, with fur type and color), SLEEVES, CUFFS AND HEM, CLOSURES AND DETAILS (zipper style and color, pockets, snaps, logo or patch) and HOW IT SITS (ZIPPED / UNZIPPED: zipped up fully, to the chin, half-zipped or open; hood up or down; under layer). Options a garment doesn’t have, like sleeves on pants, are greyed out. Everyone in a prompt is an adult (18+).
- Build a whole outfit. At the top of DOWN GARMENT, the OUTFIT row holds up to 6 garments (for example jacket + pants + vest). Tap a garment chip to edit it. The prompt is always about ONE person wearing everything together (“A single adult woman wearing …, worn together with …. She is the only person in the image.”), so the image shows one person, not one per piece. A note under the prompt warns about contradictions such as a suit plus pants or two jackets.
- Add a photo. ADD PHOTO (from the LIBRARY or an upload) reads the garments the one person in the photo is clearly wearing and fills the OUTFIT bar: usually one garment, more only when they are clearly worn (the same coat is one garment). It sets only the type, colour, fit and, when clearly visible, length, hood and collar. Everything else stays not set. The price is shown on the button and refunded if it fails; the photo is not kept. 18+ only.
- Prompt history. TOOLS, then PROMPT HISTORY, keeps the last 50 prompts you built or used in the tools (DOWN GARMENT when you press USE ON MAIN PAGE, SAVE AS PRESET or COPY; the CHARACTER SHEET notes, the STORYBOARD scene, and the INPAINT and BACKGROUND prompts when you run them). Each entry shows the tool, the time and the full text (SHOW ALL for long ones). USE puts it in the tool you came from if that tool has a prompt box, otherwise in the main prompt box for the current mode, without touching your other inputs. COPY works on the plain http phone address too, and DELETE removes it. The same text is only kept once, and the usual content check applies. Only your own words are stored, never anything hidden. DOWN GARMENT also shows a RECENT row of your last garment prompts. Free.
- Short on purpose. Options start as NOT SET and add nothing to the prompt; only the garment type is always written. Tap a chosen chip again to unset it. A fresh tool gives “A single adult person wearing a puffer jacket.” and each choice adds a short phrase, e.g. “A single adult woman wearing a black glossy wet-look oversized women’s-cut puffer jacket with a huge rolled collar, zipped up fully.” Older presets still load; whatever they did not store stays not set.
- The prompt is yours. It is written as you click and shown in a box you can edit freely. RESET TO SETTINGS rebuilds it from the buttons.
- SAVE AS PRESET keeps it under a name in your account (up to 50). Presets are listed in the tab, where you can use, edit or delete them. USE ON MAIN PAGE closes TOOLS and puts the text in the main prompt box for the mode you are in (IMAGE EDIT, TEXT TO IMAGE or a video mode), leaving your other inputs alone.
- Free. Building and saving cost no credits. When you generate, the usual content check and house rules apply, and you pay the normal price for that generation.
Storage
- 100 MB free. Everything you keep counts: images, videos, stills, uploads, moodboard images and exports. The meter is in the account menu and LIBRARY.
- Need more? Add 500 MB for $5/month in BUY CREDITS. You need a monthly plan for this.
- When it’s full, nothing gets deleted. New results are paused until you delete items in LIBRARY (that frees space right away) or add storage.
Refreshing the page
- A refresh stays on the same view. The address always names where you are, so reloading (or sending the link) brings you back to the same place: the main page with its mode (
#mode=…), the LIBRARY (with the open item, or the timeline bar), the TOOLS grid, a specific tool (#tools/…, including PROMPT HISTORY), the STORYBOARD with its open project and selected card, BUY CREDITS and DEVICE. If the address has no view in it, the last view of that browser tab is used. The page scroll (or the library list) is restored where it can be. - Back still works. Moving around does not add extra history steps, so the browser back button behaves as before. Unsaved work in a tool still asks before it is left, and the browser warns before a reload if something is unsaved. The guide and pricing pages have their own addresses.
First frame shape
- No silent cropping. If your FIRST FRAME is taller or wider than the video ASPECT, the video would crop it (a full-body picture in 16:9 loses its head or legs). A warning appears under ASPECT with two one-tap fixes: SWITCH TO the aspect that matches the picture, or FIT WITH PADDING, which puts the whole picture on a canvas of the video’s shape, filling the new space with the picture’s own edge colours.
- CHARACTER SHEET as a first frame. The front view (head to feet) is used and is always fitted with padding, so the whole character shows in any aspect. For the biggest character, pick a portrait aspect such as 9:16.
Crop keyframes (TIMELINE)
- Automatic keyframes. There is no ADD KEYFRAME button. Pause the TIMELINE preview where you want a change, then just drag the picture or change the ZOOM (slider, − / +, mouse wheel or a two-finger pinch) or press CENTER. The crop position and zoom are stored in a keyframe at the playhead automatically: an existing keyframe there is updated, otherwise one is created.
- The first change on a clip. A clip with no keyframes has one fixed crop. If the playhead is at the very start of the clip, your change simply sets that fixed crop and no keyframe is made. If the playhead is later, the clip gets two keyframes: one at the start holding the old crop, and one at the playhead holding your new crop, so the picture moves smoothly from the old crop to the new one over that time and then stays on the new one. After that, every change at another time adds or updates a keyframe. Older projects and their keyframes load as before; keyframes without a zoom use the clip’s zoom.
- UNDO and CLEAR. UNDO reverses the last crop or keyframe change (one drag or one run of zooming is one step), as many steps back as you like (up to 50). CLEAR removes all of this clip’s keyframes and goes back to its one fixed crop (UNDO brings them back).
- Markers. Each keyframe shows as a small square on its clip. Click one to jump there, or drag it left or right to move it in time.
- Smooth movement. Between keyframes the position and the zoom ease in and out together (older clips set to LINEAR stay linear). Before the first keyframe and after the last one they hold still. The crop always fills the frame, so zooming never shows empty edges.
- GRAB STILL from the TIMELINE. The GRAB STILL button in the timeline player saves the frame at the playhead to your library as an image, free, just like GRAB STILL on the main player. It includes this clip’s crop, zoom and keyframed movement at that moment, in the timeline’s shape and size, so it looks like the preview and the export.
- Same in the export. The exported video follows exactly the same movement and zoom as the preview, and the price is unchanged. Clips with no keyframes work as before. Up to 32 keyframes per clip, zoom 100% to 300%.
Save to device
- Turn it on in the account menu: SAVE TO DEVICE. It’s off until you turn it on.
- While it’s on, every new result (images, videos, upscales, stills, PhotoCraft and FilmCraft exports, converted videos) downloads to this device and is not kept in your LIBRARY or counted toward storage. Credits are charged as usual.
- Where it goes: your browser’s Downloads. On desktop Chrome or Edge you can CHOOSE FOLDER instead (RESET TO DOWNLOADS switches back). Phones, Safari and Firefox save to Downloads only.
- The server copy is deleted right after the download is saved, or after 24 hours if it never downloads. If a download fails, open SAVE TO DEVICE and tap DOWNLOAD AGAIN.
- Your history keeps the prompt and settings, so RETRY still works. EXTEND, USE, UPSCALE and GRAB STILL need the file added again once it’s gone from the server.
Content rule: Adults only (18+)
Adults only (18+). Everyone shown must clearly be an adult. Prompts that describe or suggest anyone who isn’t are blocked, in every box, before anything is made.
The first blocked prompt shows a red warning. A second one locks the account until it has been reviewed.
